Located on the west side of the tennis courts β perfect for peaceful lounging and swimming away from the crowds.

First come, first serve. Currently set up for tennis with pickleball lines also painted. One court will be converted to 4 dedicated pickleball courts in the future.
β³ Kona Country Club Golf Course
Our condo backs onto the 12th hole β open to the public at reasonable prices. Early morning and sunset walks on the course are popular (when no golfers are present). A lovely walk north along the 12th hole leads to the Keauhou Surf & Racquet Club and a secluded beach beyond.

Useful details for your stay

House Rules
Helping us keep this place special for everyone
Strictly prohibited anywhere in the unit or complex. Additional cleaning fees will apply if this rule is disregarded.
Please use the provided beach towels (not white bath towels) at the pool and beach. Do not hang towels or any garments over the lanai railing β use the hooks and rack provided inside.
Please rinse sand off your feet before entering the condo. There's a faucet at the end of the parking spot you can use to rinse off after the beach.
You're in the tropics! Put all food away immediately, wipe counters, clean up spills, and take trash out daily to keep bugs outside where they belong.
Rinse all beach gear thoroughly and remove all sand before returning items to the storage room. Leave it as you found it for the next guests.
Please do not burn candles anywhere in the unit.
Do not overload the machines and always clean the lint trap in the dryer after each use. The dryer is electric β this is very important for safety.
Please be respectful of your neighbors, especially in the evenings. Kanaloa is a residential resort community.
Barbeques and grills are not permitted on any lanai. Please use the complex BBQ stations near the Oceanfront Pool.
Parking spaces are for motor vehicles only and may not be used for storage. Please park only in your assigned stall.
Pets are not permitted in any apartment or common area at Kanaloa at Kona.
Pool hours are 8amβ10pm. No glass containers in pool areas. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Proper swimwear required β no cut-offs or street clothes in the pools.
Quiet hours are 10pmβ8am. Only activities common to a residential community are permitted. Recreational activities are restricted to designated areas.
No sweeping or cleaning that creates dust or debris falling onto another apartment or common elements.
Best Beaches
The Big Island's finest shorelines
The Big Island is the youngest Hawaiian island β much of the coastline is volcanic rock, but the beaches here are truly spectacular and worth the short drive.
πͺ¨ Pebble Beach at Kanaloa
A unique white & black pebble stone beach just south of the resort. Walk along the lava path south, or exit by road and look for the sign about 100 yards east on the right side.
π€« Secret Beach
A small, secluded beach just north of the Keauhou Surf & Racquet Club. Shallow pools protected by a reef make this ideal for little ones. Walk north along the lava path β no parking available.
π€« Ke'Ei Beach
Our personal favorite secret beach on the island. A stunning, secluded cove that feels worlds away from the tourist spots. Crystal clear water, great snorkeling, and almost always uncrowded. Worth the drive β you'll love it.
π View on Mapπ€Ώ Kahalu'u Beach Park
Excellent snorkeling beach with BBQ pits, picnic tables, and parking ($12/day or free street parking on Ali'i Drive). Mellow waves on the north side β surfboard rentals from Kona Mike's van. About a 10-minute drive or a scenic walk along the coast.
π View on Mapπ Magic Sands Beach
Small but beautiful white sand beach β great for boogie boarding and volleyball (lifeguard on duty). Named "Magic Sands" because the sand literally disappears during winter high surf and returns gradually.
π View on MapποΈ Kua Bay (ManiniΚ»owali Beach)
One of the most stunning white sand beaches on the Big Island β crystal clear turquoise water, great swimming and snorkeling. About 20 minutes north. Can get busy on weekends so go early. Facilities available.
π View on Mapπ Kekaha Kai (Kona Coast) State Beach
Beautiful, uncrowded white sand beach with turquoise water north of the airport. High-clearance vehicle recommended for the parking area β otherwise park near the highway and walk about 2 miles through lava fields.
π View on Mapβ Hapuna Beach
Probably the nicest beach on the island β wide, white sand with calm waters. About an hour drive north, totally worth it if you're heading up toward Waimea or Hilo.
π View on Mapπ¨ Mauna Kea Resort Beach
Picturesque beach at the iconic Mauna Kea Resort β the first hotel ever built on the Big Island, by the Rockefellers. Visit the beach and stay for a meal at the resort. About 45 minutes north.
